Description
A Software Tester (or QA Analyst) ensures software quality by designing and executing manual/automated tests, identifying bugs, and verifying functionality against requirements. They collaborate with developers to fix issues throughout the development lifecycle (SDLC), requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of testing tools. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Responsibilities
- Test Design & Execution: Create detailed test cases and scripts based on functional requirements.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track software bugs through to resolution, ensuring high-quality releases.
- Testing Types: Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, stress, usability, and regression testing across mobile and web platforms.
- Collaboration: Work with developers, product managers, and customers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
