Description
Job Title: Distribution Specialist I
Location: Frederick Maryland (Onsite)
Shift: Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
Brief Job Description:
Work in a newly built state-of-the-art CAR-T manufacturing facility. Have the opportunity to learn Materials Management operations in a GMP/FDA regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities
- Receive incoming shipments of non -GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures
- Dispense GMP materials to support production operations
- Prepare and deliver raw materials to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed
- Maintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and accurate ERP transactions
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and escalate when appropriate
- Cross-train in additional areas of the warehouse operations
- Prepare general shipments and equipment as required per established policies and procedures (Excluding Patient Material )
- Ensure individual employee training is up-to-date
- Adhere to al l safety procedures and keep wareouse operation clean and inspection ready
- Complete in-house forklift certification
- Additional duties as assigned
- These duties can be delegated to designated deputies of a satisfactory qualification level as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree – High School Diploma
- Knowledge of GMP environment
- Years of Experience – 1 to 2 years in a warehouse environment
- Top 3 Skills – Attendance and Punctuality. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Communication.
