Key Details

Bill Rate: $35/hour

Schedule: Onsite 5 days/week (40 hours)

Commitment: Minimum 18 months

Equipment: Must have own laptop

Worksite: Atlanta campus

Eligibility

Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific discipline.

We’re seeking an exceptional technician to maximize their potential in our R&D team. You’ll run experiments, support flavor emulsion projects, and help turn ideas into scalable products.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Conduct experiments to develop new products.
  • Evaluate new ingredients, materials, products, and processes.
  • Assist on beverage flavor emulsion projects under technical guidance.
  • Execute shelf-life studies; analyze data and deliver technical reports with conclusions and recommendations.
  • Build understanding of emulsion science (emulsifiers, weighting agents, prototypes, analysis methods).
  • Perform specialized tests using complex lab equipment.
  • Procure supplies and materials for laboratory research.
  • Conduct literature reviews to support research.
  • Resolve formulation and process challenges.
  • Plus: Experience making emulsions; delivery systems; working with gums, hydrocolloids, proteins, sweeteners, and colors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field.

Additional Information

  • Role is fully onsite at the Atlanta campus.
