Program Manager

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager – IT to oversee, plan, and drive complex IT programs across multiple projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and monitoring overall program performance. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical knowledge to coordinate with stakeholders and deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and execute IT programs consisting of multiple related projects.

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to align program objectives with organizational goals.

• Oversee project managers and technical leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Develop and manage program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and issues; implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.

• Track, monitor, and report on program progress, performance, and outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices in program and project management.

• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers involved in IT programs.

• Facilitate executive-level updates and presentations on program status and business impact.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• 8+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 3 years in program-level leadership.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and emerging technologies.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or equivalent.

• Relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or ITIL) strongly preferred.
