A Hydrocarbon Lab Technician is responsible for performing various tests and analyses on hydrocarbon samples, ensuring product quality and adherence to industry standards. This role involves operating lab equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and documenting findings.
Key Responsibilities:

Sample Handling and Preparation:Receiving, processing, and preparing samples of oil, gas, chemicals, and water for testing.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining laboratory equipment, including instruments used in hydrocarbon analysis.

Testing and Analysis:Conducting a wide range of standardized physical and chemical tests, such as those related to NOx activity, EPA Method 8a, and ASTM, IP, and UOP standards.
