PLEASE READ BEFORE ACCEPTING ROLE. This is a Smurfit Kappa site that has different criteria than SWR. Max customer markup : 32% You can use your own BG provider. You will NOT be reimbursed for DT/BG 90+7 Payment Terms Pay Range: $18 -$31 (manager will confirm the pay rate after interview and skills are assessed) NTE Client Bill rate:$40.92 NTE Supplier Rate: $39.94 Hours: 5am-1:30pm while TRAINING (training period will also depend on the employee’s skills and previous experience) Shift Hours:1:30pm-9:45pm after training is complete INTERVIEWS ARE REQUIRED Can start when DT is cleared while background is running TOP REQUIREMENTS 1. Able to do preventative maintenance 2. PLC 3. Mechanical JOB SUMMARY Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. • Practice safe work habits at all times • Demonstrate ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products • Demonstrate ability to teach other maintenance classifications in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures • Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems use • Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program • Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other maintenance classifications according to their abilities and limitations • Follow up all work in order to insure repairs and work are performed properly • Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed • Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines. • Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts • Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping • Additional duties may be assigned by management • High school diploma or GED • Successfully demonstrate all Class B qualifications • Provide own tools necessary to perform maintenance tasks • Prior work experience in the corrugated industry, preferred • Prior work experience as a forklift operator, preferred • May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification to work in certain areas or on certain equipment • Able to read and follow instructions on word orders, specifications, and machine drawings • Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math. To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand for long periods, walk frequently, squat, climb, bend, crouch, push-pull, carry, work at heights, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, use radio, speak and listen frequently. Role requires ability to work in environment of excessive heat or cold, walking on uneven surfaces and frequent lifting up to 20 pounds.
