Job Summary:
An Android Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android platforms. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and performance-optimized apps.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.

Integrate APIs and third-party services (RESTful APIs, Firebase, etc.).

Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and crashes.

Ensure application compatibility with different Android devices and versions.

Follow best practices in coding, security, and performance.

Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, trends, and technologies.

Conduct unit testing and assist in QA and deployment processes.

Participate in code reviews and team discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin.

Experience with Android Studio and version control tools like Git.

Strong understanding of Android UI design principles and patterns.

Knowledge of SQLite, Room DB, and other local storage solutions.

Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, or other architecture patterns.

Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and in-app purchases.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Jetpack Compose.

Published apps on Google Play Store.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools for Android (e.g., Jenkins, Bitrise).

Understanding of security and data protection in mobile apps.
