Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Analyst to join our laboratory team. The Lab Analyst is responsible for conducting tests, analyzing samples, recording results, and ensuring data accuracy in support of research, product development, or quality control efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong background in laboratory techniques, is familiar with regulatory standards, and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, test, and analyze samples using standard laboratory techniques and equipment.

Accurately record, interpret, and report test results.

Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.

Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., GLP, GMP, ISO).

Maintain laboratory documentation and logbooks.

Assist in developing new testing methods and improving existing procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investigations or projects.

Manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents.

Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting (can vary based on industry).

Proficiency in using analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, ICP-MS, spectrophotometers).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, EPA, ISO 17025).

Work Environment:

Lab-based role with exposure to chemicals and laboratory equipment.
